  • How do I take care of my naturally dyed linen goods?
    Linen is a beautiful, natural fabric that will soften significantly with time and use. Handwash or use a gentle washing machine cycle (do not dry clean). Use cold water for bright and dark colours, warm water for whites and neutrals. Ideally, use a mild pH neutral soap as plant dye colours can be altered by chemicals and drastic changes in pH levels. It is not necessary to use fabric softener. Air drying is best, hang neatly to dry wrinkle free. To enjoy the natural texture and beauty of washed linen do not iron. Natural dyes may change over time, as with all things in nature. Embrace the beauty of this, or contact us in a few years for a re-dye!
  • Do you make bespoke products?
    Natural dyes have endless colour possibilities and we would love to collaborate to create something special for you. If you are willing to wait between 2 to 4 weeks, we would be happy to make custom items. The process of natural dyeing is a slow one and we cannot promise to reproduce the exact same colours every time. Please use the contact form for more information.
  • What is your environmental policy?
    About materials and suppliers: We use 100% European linen OEKO-TEX Certified and/or Dead-stock fabric (this means fabric that has been discarded or discontinued by the fashion and home industry and would otherwise go to waste) from suppliers based in the UK. All the items are sewed with 100% organic GOTS Certified cotton thread. About the packaging: All the orders are dispatched in brown cardboard boxes or Kraft mailing bags, and though we love elaborate designs, we decided to keep a simple aesthetic, using natural yute twine and Kraft paper stickers with water-based ink. We are looking to build a truly sustainable business and are always searching for ways in which we can improve.
  • About shipping times and worldwide delivery
    All of our products have an average lead time of 5 - 15 days from order received. This could vary depending on quantity ordered. We use Royal Mail 48 tracked for delivery in the UK, which aim to deliver in 2 - 5 working days from dispatch. You will receive an email when the package has been dispatched. Please email for shipping to Scottish Islands, Northern Island, Channel Islands, Isle of Man & remote areas. We offer worldwide delivery. If you can't find your region please get in touch by emailing hi@eldoradothestudio.com for a quote. International orders are paid via bank-to-bank transfer or PayPal, as the website is only set up for Mainland UK delivery. International parcels are sent via courier or Royal Mail Track & Trace Parcel Service, which aim to deliver within 10 working days, but it can take longer. A signature may be required on delivery. Due to customs rejecting feather filled pads, we can only send covers overseas & not the pads. Buyers are responsible for any customs & import taxes that may apply. All international parcels are Delivered Duty Unpaid. This means any customs duty owed must be paid by the recipient. Customs officials will contact the recipient for payment if there is any duty owed & this will need to be paid before the parcel is released. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. In the unfortunate case of a parcel being undelivered, a refund will not be issued until 30 days after dispatch.
  • What is your returns policy
    OUR RETURNS POLICY We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you would like to return your item you have 14 days to notify us (hi@eldoradothestudio.com) from the date of receipt. You will have a further 14 days to send your item back after receiving a response from us. The returns period will expire 28 days from the day on which you receive the goods that you have ordered. HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT: 1. Contact hi@eldoradothestudio.com (within the above period) to let us know you will be returning your purchase. 2. We will respond with the return address. 3. Package your order securely and send it back to us. 4. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipment. 5. We advise using a tracked service to ensure your delivery makes it back safely and securely. Please retain your proof of postage. 6. Your order will be refunded once the returned product is received and verified. Please note that you, the customer, are responsible for the safe return of the product. Therefore you are liable for any mishandling of the product and damage caused from receiving the product to it being received back. We ask that you consider the means of transit back to the partner carefully to ensure your return arrives in the condition it was received in.
